Advancing Educational Innovation: Department Faculty Master Modern Simulation Learning Techniques

Faculty members continue to actively enhance their pedagogical expertise and integrate leading global standards into the educational process.

Recently, the Acting Head of the Department, MD, Professor Volodymyr Lychko, and MD, Professor Iryna Mudrenko, participated in the specialised educational event “Fundamentals of Simulation Learning for Medical Educators.”

The course curriculum focused on the key aspects of contemporary medical education, including:

  • Methodology for developing simulation scenarios to practice clinical skills;
  • Techniques for conducting effective debriefing;
  • Integration of simulation technologies into the curricula for training future neurologists, psychiatrists, and neurosurgeons.

The participation of professors from the Academic and Research Medical Institute of Sumy State University in such initiatives underscores the department’s commitment to ensuring high-quality specialist training by combining profound theoretical knowledge with the development of safe and effective clinical competencies. The expertise gained will be implemented into the teaching process to elevate the professional training level of medical students and residents.
