Times Higher Education, one of the most influential rating agencies in the world, has published the results of the annual THE Impact Rankings, which assesses the scientific, educational, management and educational activities of HEIs according to all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The number of universities participating in the ranking is a record – this year it has increased to 2,526 higher education institutions from 130 countries around the world. The number of Ukrainian HEIs is also a record: it has increased from 42 to 55 compared to last year.

Sumy State University, which for the fourth year in a row occupies the first place among Ukrainian HEIs in this ranking, has entered the top 301-400 best universities in the world.

SumDU demonstrates particularly significant results in Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health and Well-being), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), in the context of achieving which it is among the top 101-300 universities in the world.

The university’s high positions in the THE Impact Rankings once again confirm the institution’s leadership not only in the national but also in the global educational and scientific environment.
